The Rams, fresh from their Sunday game against the Ravens, are making the most of their time in Baltimore. They'll practice here on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday before jetting off to London for their Week 7 clash against the Jaguars. Head Coach Sean McVay expressed his gratitude, calling it an "amazing opportunity" and praising the Orioles for their hospitality.
The setup is certainly unconventional. Two shorter fields have been created in the left and right outfields, with field goal uprights set up for practice. It's a far cry from their usual full-length field back home in Woodland Hills, California, but it serves its purpose.
Wide receiver Davante Adams summed it up: "It's just grass." He added, "We've got enough space, and we're not using the full 100 yards anyway." Adams acknowledged that the defense might not be thrilled with the reduced field size, but he suggested they could focus on red zone work.
Visually, it's a unique setting, but Adams emphasized that the surface is just grass. "As long as no one ends up in the infield, we'll be fine," he joked.
The players seemed to embrace the change of scenery. They walked out from the home and visitors' dugouts, practicing their swings and even doing bat flips with a foam bat on their way to warm-ups.
